Installation
Is my TV suitable for a Pedestal?
Pedestal TV stands are universal and follows the standards of VESA. Therefore, a Pedestal TV stand will work with all regular TV brands on the market, as they are VESA compatible.
VESA is an international standard for the mounting holes on the back of your TV. So, it’s important to check if your TV is VESA-compatible before making a purchase. Please see our short guide and find out if your TV is suitable for a Pedestal.
How will I find out if my TV is VESA compatible?
VESA stands for “Video Electronics Standards Association”, which is an organization that develops technical standards for products such as TVs. Briefly put, it is an international standard for the mounting holes on the reverse side of your TV.
You can check under the specifications on the brand or dealer site for your TV to see if your TV is VESA compatible.
Please look up the specific model either in the instructions manual, on the company page or at the place you bought the TV. Look under specifications for VESA compatibility.
VESA compatibility, for example, can also be written as 100x100 up to 400x400 mm.
If your VESA holes are 600mm in width and 400mm in height, or less – your TV is suited for Pedestal TV stands.
How do I measure the VESA size of my TV?

How big can my TV be?
Our stands are intended for use with screens measuring 40–70" – or up to 75" for our Pedestal PRO stands.
If you have a screen between 40-43", it will in some situations not cover the actual frame of Pedestal TV stands in the Pipe and Wood series.
Screens above or below the recommended size do not align with our quality and stability requirements.
If you choose to fit a screen outside the recommended size, you do so at your own risk and responsibility.
What is the recommend TV size for Moon Rollin' and Sway?
We recommend screens between 44-60” for our Moon Rollin’ and Sway models.
If your TV is between 40-44” it is possible to mount the screen, but it will in some situations not cover the actual frame of the TV stand. Therefore, you will be able to see a bit of the frame either above or below the TV.
If you have a TV between 65-70” the lower mounting holes must not be more than 25 cm from the bottom of the screen. If the measurement exceeds this there isn’t enough space for the TV due to the design. For a screen of this size, we would instead recommend a Moon Rollin Tall.
Where will my TV be placed on a Pedestal TV stand?
The height of your screen, when mounted on the stand, depends on your screen's VESA specification. You can easily measure the distance with our quick video guide.
Please see height specifications under the product you are interested in.
Please note that the screen height may vary by up to 7 cm depending on the model of the stand.
The purpose of the video guide is to provide an estimation of the screen height in the highest mounting position.
For a more precise measurement, subtract an additional 2 cm for Viva and all stands in the Plate series, and 7 cm for all stands in the Pipe series.
How do I assemble my TV stand?
We supply detailed assembly instructions with all Pedestal TV stands, along with the bolts and tools required. If you’ve lost your assembly instructions – or in the unlikely event that they aren’t in the box – you can always find our assembly instructions online here.
Can I assemble a Pedestal TV stand myself?
We are committed to developing products that are easy to assemble. At the same time, we place a lot of emphasis on the assembly instructions we supply. Click here for our assembly instructions.
What do i do if my TV doesn't fit the TV stand i bought?
In the unlikely event that your TV doesn’t fit our TV stand, you can mail us at hello@pedestal.com enclosing some photos of the issue.
Our TV stands are universal, but in extraordinary cases, a Pedestal TV stand may not be compatible with a specific TV. On a case-by-case basis, we assess whether it is possible to optimise the installation, whether a different Pedestal TV stand would be a better match or whether, unfortunately, it is simply not possible to fit the TV in question.
The bolts supplied do not fit my TV. What do I do?
If the bolts provided are too long, it will help to use the large plastic spacers that are included in our mounting kit. You won’t make the TV stand unstable by adding more spacers, so simply add as many as needed.
In the rare case the bolts provided are too big or too small in diameter to fit in the mounting holes on your TV don’t panic. The bolts are standard. Simply grab the bolts from the mounting kit and take them to the local hardware store and ask for a smaller or bigger one.
Our mounting kit are universal and has been tested to suit 95% of all TV models.
Is Samsung The Frame TV compatible with a Pedestal TV stand?
Yes, Samsung The Frame is VESA compatible and can therefore be used with all Pedestal TV stands. Be noted that Samsung The Frame TV in 32” is not VESA compatible.
For the Samsung One Connect Box we recommend using our Box Mount.
My TV is uneven at the back, can I still fit a Pedestal TV stand on it?
If your TV is still VESA compatible, then you can use a Pedestal TV stand even though the back of your TV is uneven. You will properly need to use more plastic spacers to equalize the unevenness. The plastic spacers are provided in the mounting kit.
What is the recommed TV size for Viva?
Viva supports screens from 32" to 70". Some smaller screens may require an M4 screw instead of the M6 or M8 screws provided in the VESA mounting kit. Check your screen’s documentation for VESA configuration and screw size details. M4 screws are not included with Viva but can be easily purchased at a hardware store, online, or where you bought your screen. Please note that our selection of Mounts and Shelves is not compatible with Viva.
Is there a Pedestal TV stand for a 32" TV?
Yes, it is possible to use our Viva TV stand for a 32” TV. However, we cannot guarantee that in some cases there will be parts of the TV stand's mounting area that are visible, above or below the TV, depending on the location of the mounting holes on the TV in question.

Can you adjust the height of Pedestal TV stands?
No, Pedestal TV stands are fixed height stands.
How much weight can you place on a Pedestal TV stand?
The TV stands has been tested to 50 kg and therefore that’s our recommend load.
What’s the best practice for fitting a TV to angled Pedestal TV stands?
We recommend placing the TV as high up as the TV stand itself and the VESA mounting holes allow, so as to obtain the best angle to watch from a sofa.
What's the difference between the colours Pearls and Mushroom?
Pearl is an off-white colour, while Mushroom is a warm, light-grey tone.
Why are my Remote Box Mount and Power Bar different colors?
Slight colour differences may occur in TV stands, Mounts and Power products even though these have the same colour name, for example Dusty Rose or Ultra Marine.
This is not a defect but is due to differences in materials and surface treatments.
Can you assemble the Moon PRO Pedestal TV stand without the shelf?
No, it is not possible to assemble the Moon PRO model without fitting the shelf supplied.
Is it easy to lift a Pedestal TV stand?
Pedestal TV stands weigh between 6 and 16 kg and are designed to be stable, yet simple to move around in your home. If it is likely you will need to move your TV stand regularly, we recommend buying a Pedestal TV stand on wheels.
Are Pedestal TV stands stable? I'm affraid my child could knock it over.
Pedestal TV stands are designed with the emphasis on stability. It takes a lot to knock over a Pedestal TV stand bearing a screen, and this isn’t an issue we’ve encountered in connection with ordinary use in a home where there are young children.
Can you fit wheels to all Pedestal TV stands?
The Pedestal models Straight Rollin' and Moon Rollin' are TV stands on wheels. It is not possible to fit wheels to other Pedestal TV stands.
Can you lock the wheels on Pedestal TV stands in wheels?
No, wheels with brakes are not included as standard for our TV stands on wheels. However, it is possible to purchase wheels with brakes.
Accessories
There’s no room to fit accessories behind my Pedestal TV stand – what should I do?
Check that you have fitted your TV correctly to your Pedestal TV stand using the spacers supplied, which prevent the TV from touching the brackets. There needs to be a gap of more than 3 mm between the TV stand and the screen for you to be able to use our Mounts. If you have any doubts, you can mail photos of the situation to our Customer Service department at hello@pedestal.com
Is the Power Cable compatible with all TVs?
Our Power Cable can be used with the most common TV models. Look for the figure-8-shaped C7 Europlug socket on your TV.
Which Pedestal TV stands can you buy shelves for?
We sell shelves for the following Pedestal TV stands: Bendy Tall, Straight Rollin', Moon Rollin', Moon Rollin' Tall and Hopper.
How much weight can you put on a Pedestal Tv stand shelf?
Our TV stand shelves can support a maximum of 7 kg.
Can I fit a Pipe shelf on a Pedestal Moon Rollin' or Sway?
Yes, the Pipe Shelf fits both the Moon Rollin’ and the Sway model. Please see the guide for the mounting to the Moon Rollin’ here.
Be noted that depending on the size of your TV and the placement of the mounting holes, there will on some occasions not be enough space to fit the shelf. Please use our short guide to determent the highest possible mounting placement of your screen and with that the space under the screen.
How can I fit my soundbar on a Pedestal TV stand?
You have two options to fit a Soundbar on a Pedestal TV stand. Either use our Soundbar Brackets or a shelf which we supply for a range of TV stands.
In the same way as our TV stands, our Soundbar Bracket is a universal fitting. This means it suits the most common types of installation.
Check whether the mounting holes are on the rear or bottom surface of your soundbar. If they are on the bottom surface, we recommend that you purchase our Soundbar Bracket Set that includes the Angle Brackets.
Please note that we do not include mounting screws for your soundbar, as different models use different screws. These are generally supplied together with your soundbar. If you have lost them, you can buy replacements from the manufacturer or from any well-stocked building supplies outlet.
Can I use my own soundbar fittings?
In some cases, yes – in others, no. We recommend that you give it a try, but if that doesn’t provide a satisfactory result, you can buy our Soundbar Bracket instead.
Do all Mounts fit all Pedestal TV stands?
Yes – with the exception of the Viva and Bloom model.
Can I use Mounts for TV stands other than Pedestal?
No, our Mounts are designed specifically for Pedestal TV stands.
What do I do with my TV box?
We supply a variety of accessories for fitting different TV boxes to Pedestal TV stands. For example, fitting our Box Mount solutions using the bracket and Velcro strap supplied makes it possible to mount various TV boxes to the rear of Pedestal TV stands. Depending on the size of the box, a shelf may be a good solution, too. We supply shelves for a range of Pedestal TV stands.
Where can I keep my Apple Tv?
Our Apple TV Mount makes it simple to fit your Apple TV to the reverse side of the stand, or on a bar on the front of a Pedestal TV stand. For a different effect, you can also place your Apple TV on a shelf which you can buy as an optional extra for various Pedestal TV stands.
Does the Soundbar bracket fit all Pedestal Tv stands?
Our Soundbar Brackets are compatible with all our Pedestal TV stands except for the Bloom TV stand.
Please be noted that for our Moon Rollin’ and Sway models has a limit due to the design. Depending on the size of your TV and the placement of the mounting holes, there will on some occasions not be enough space to fit the Soundbar Brackets and the actual Soundbar. Please use our short guide to determent the highest possible mounting placement of your screen and with that the space under the screen.
How do I mount my PlayStation?
If you have a PlayStation 5 we recommend our PS5 Mount. It can be used for both the Digital, Disk and Slim model. If you have a PlayStation 4 we recommend our Box Mount. Please be noted if you have a disk version the Velcro ties will cover the opening.
You can also choose a shelf which we supply for a range of TV stands.
How do I mount my Xbox?
If you have an Xbox, you can use our Box Mount. Please be noted if you have a disk version the Velcro ties will cover the opening. You can also choose a shelf which we supply for a range of TV stands.
How do I mount my Nintendo switch?
If you have a Nintendo Switch we recommend our Nintendo Switch Mount.
Shipping
What do I do if my product is damaged during transport?
If your product is damaged during transport, contact our customer service department at hello@pedestal.com without delay. Attach photos of the label, packaging, internal padding and the actual damage to the stand(s) for us to use in our complaints process against the carrier. We will then supply you with a new product and send you a return shipping note for the damaged goods
When will I receive my order confirmation?
Confirmation is issued immediately after your order has been processed (max. 2–3 minutes). If confirmation of your order does not appear in your email inbox, check to see whether it has been filtered out by your email program. If you still cannot find it, contact our customer service department at hello@pedestal.com
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs 15 euros. We offer shipping to selected countries in Europe. If you want to return products to us, you will have to pay the return shipping yourself.
Which countries do you deliver to?
We offer shipping to a range of countries, which are presented in the following list. Be noted that we don’t ship to islands not connected by bridge as e.g. Maderia, The Canary Islands, Azores, Majorca. If your country is not on the list we recommend you to look at our list with dealers. Where eg. Finnish Design Shop ships almost worldwide.
Can I pay extra for delivery to a country you do not ship to as standard?
We do not deliver to countries that are not on our list, not even on payment of an extra shipping fee.

What do i do if there's something missing from my shipment?
In the unlikely event that there is anything missing from your shipment, contact our customer service department at hello@pedestal.com without delay. We will immediately send you the parts you need.
What do I do if I have received the wrong item?
In the unlikely event that you should receive the wrong item, contact our customer service department at hello@pedestal.com without delay. We will immediately send you the correct item along with a return label for the one you received in error.
How long is the delivery time on Pedestal products?
Pedestal aims to ship all orders the next working day. Delivery times to different countries vary.
When will I receive my invoice?
We don’t’ automatically send invoices, but you can find a link to your invoice in the bottom of your order confirmation.
If you are a professional customer, we recommend you to order from our B2B website products are without VAT and the invoice is also automatically forwarded after the purchase.
How can I track my order?
When we ship your order from our warehouse our system automatically send you an e-mail with tracking information where you can follow your order. If you can’t find the e-mail try to have a look in the spam-filter or otherwise reach out to us at hello@pedestal.com
Returns
How should I pack my return shipment?
Products must always be returned in their original packaging. If you use other packaging to return products, this will have a negative impact on their value.
You must also make sure that any items you return are securely padded and packaged.
Check the following:
- Use the packaging that the product was delivered in, as this will ensure that it is firmly fixed in place.
- Make sure there are no loose items in the box, as there is a risk that they may scratch the product.
You bear the risk for the shipment/the goods until we receive them.
We recommend that you save the mail receipt and, if appropriate, the track & trace number in the event of damage during transport.
Can I buy a return label from you?
Yes, you can buy a return label via our return portal right.
Can i return my order?
You can always return your product. You have 14 days from the day you received it.
How do I return products?

Can I exchange my product?
You cannot exchange products. However, you can return your product to us and place a new order. If you need help choosing the correct TV stand, you can contact us at hello@pedestal.com.
Can I assemble/test a Pedestal TV stand before returning it?
Yes, you are allowed to assemble and test the TV stand before returning it.
If you open the packaging and the color and materials don’t live up to your expatiations its always in your best interest not to begin to assemble it.

Complaints
What do I do if there is a manufacturing defect in my product?
In the unlikely event that you should receive a product with a manufacturing defect, contact our customer service department at hello@pedestal.com. Describe the fault and send us a photo. We will then reply and find the most purposeful way to deliver a product without manufacturing defects.
What do I do if I want to complain about my product?

Can I submit a complaint if I purchased my product through another dealer?
If you have purchased your product through a dealer, it is best that you start by talking to this dealer about complaints and/or possible returns.
